The Gallatin County Attorney’s Office has filed felony charges, accusing a female employee of embezzling from a Bozeman business.
Court papers filed last week allege that Chona Kardell stole more than $10,000 from Treasure State Door between 2007 and 2008 by reportedly depositing money that was not hers into a personal bank account.
The court documents also say Kardell used her employer's funds to buy items for herself. The state is accusing her of felony embezzlement and theft.
Treasure State Door is a garage door business in Bozeman.
